About Us

Gujarati Samaj Regensburg e.V.  is a non-profit association dedicated to bringing people together through culture, community, and support. Based in Regensburg, we organize cultural events, festivals, workshops, and community gatherings that celebrate Indian traditions while building bridges with the local German community.

Our activities include festivals like Diwali, Holi, and Navratri, as well as orientation sessions for newcomers, student seminars, and community support programs. We aim to help families, professionals, and students feel at home in Regensburg and contribute actively to the city’s multicultural life.

So far we have successfully organized 6 events with over 1000 participants and we aim to organize 4 events in the next year of 2026.

The organization runs entirely through volunteer effort. Anyone who shares our values of respect, inclusion, and cultural exchange is welcome to join, participate, or support our events.
